Level I Online

Level I (Beginner) A slower-paced class based on the 12 foundational practices of Integral Yoga. The teacher offers clear yet concise instructions making this class appropriate not only for beginners but for those new to yoga. “Hatha Yoga is a form of meditation. Every posture, every breathing practice, is a form of meditation. It calms your body, breath, and mind. After only an hour of practice, you walk away with all peace and serenity and usually feel relaxed for hours. It is a very great practice. The asanas are completely different from other forms of exercise, which are usually done with quick movements and a certain amount of strain. Exercises accelerate your breathing, waste your energy, and draw your circulation to the surface of the body. They develop the muscular part of the body. That means your vitality goes to the muscles at the cost of the inner glands and nerves.” Hatha Yoga and Other Exercise, by Swami Satchidananda, Integral Yoga Teachings

Living Tones: An Immersive Sound Journey

Do you need an opportunity to relax, release, and rejuvenate?   Since ancient times, sound and vibration has been used in celebration, moments of mourning, creating community, and establishing a direct connection to the spirit world. Vibration provides an opportunity for the body to relax, release tension and revitalize energy. For some, deep healing can occur when the body moves into a relaxed state.
