Satsang: Peace as Stillness and Movement

Online & In-person with Marc Mukunda Morozumi

The many teachings of Swami Satchidananda speak about doing whatever we can to retain our Peace – “Maintain your Peace at all costs.” SSS. This is a cherished and deeply beneficial teaching when we consciously reflect and consider its meaning. Does Peace simply mean being still, silent, to move away from conflict and attempt to be forever comfortable? Or does our experience of Peace become more dynamic as we engage in the healing work of ourselves, our communities and our planet? Let’s gather and discuss this teaching and investigate how to truly connect with Peace with thoughtful steps that include silent practices and active involvement both individually and collectively. Mukunda will share his experience, strength and hope around this journey as well as teachings from Swami Satchidananda’s booklet, Adversity and Awakening. (Booklet will be shared online during the Satsang or is available online here).

Satsang is a special time for us to come together as a community. In Sanskrit, Sat means truth and Sangha means community. Satsang offers an opportunity to come together to share spiritual teachings. The philosophy of Integral Yoga is explored, often through an informal discussion. Although spiritual paths may diverge, the act of sharing spiritual teachings with others is inspiring and creates a solid foundation for continued practice.

People of all faiths are welcome.
