September 2025
In-Person Level I
Level I (beginner) A slower-paced class based on the 12 foundational practices of Integral Yoga. The teacher offers clear yet concise instructions making this class appropriate not only for beginners but for those new to yoga.
In-Person Evening Meditation
Students experienced in meditating may join us for open meditation. Students unfamiliar with our meditation practice may wish to attend one of our Meditation I workshops before joining an open meditation. Meditations include chanting, kapalabhati, nadi suddhi, 15 to 20 minutes of silence, and closing chants. We ask that you be on time and remain until the end.
Restorative Online
Rest the body in long supportive poses using props, blankets, bolsters and blocks, that allow muscles to release, tensions to ease and the mind to quiet. This nurturing practice eases stress and amplifies the peace within. For anyone seeking calm including students with special health needs. Leave class feeling grounded and renewed.
In-Person Integral Yoga Inspired Yin
In our Western culture, Hatha Yoga has morphed into a very active, heating, and muscle-oriented practice. According to the Chinese understanding, that is a “yang” way to practice. Yin Yoga is a quieter, more in-drawn practice that uses steady, long-held postures that benefit your deeper, “yin,” connective tissues, such as the fascia, ligaments, tendons, joints, and bones. Though the practice is simple, it can be challenging in that in the periods of stillness we start to pay more attention to what is happening in the here and now. All levels are welcome.
Level II Online
Level II (intermediate) class allows for a deeper experience of yoga by encouraging the students to develop their awareness of the sensations of the body, the movement of the breath, and the flow of their energy (prana). The goal is to discover good alignment from the inside out by connecting with the inner intelligence within the body.
Therapeutic Chair Yoga Online
Wednesdays with Diana Meltsner, C-IAYT, ERYT-500. The Therapeutic Yoga class emphasizes safe, functional movement, breath awareness and respect for your current condition. Whether you have a new injury or are recovering from one, or simply want to cultivate more mobility and relaxation, this class will provide specific modifications as needed for the individual. Throughout class, there is strong emphasis on listening for and respecting the messages from your body. Every class includes a deep relaxation practice and a short meditation.
Noon Meditation (Wednesdays)
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays with IYI Staff. Open meditation includes chanting, breathing practices and silence. It lasts about 35 minutes.
Multilevel Online
Multilevel (all levels are welcome) This class is offered with variations to help you find the pose that is the most comfortable for you.
